Business Objectives

- Grow the existing traffic base through the addition of new carload business oriented toward bottom-line growth.
- Maximize the rail-served traffic opportunities from the current customer base in the area by enhancing service and providing appropriate equipment when necessary.
- Develop a new, growing and diversified rail-served traffic base in the area by expanding transloading opportunities, making strategic investments in rail-served facilities, and aggressively supporting economic development initiatives.
- Maintain proactive orientation toward safe operations through joint safety initiatives developed in conjunction with local railroads and customers.
- Maintain an efficient, two carrier haul for traffic moving between Bay City and points north, and points on the CSXT system. And preserve the competitive line-haul options currently available to shippers located north and northwest of Saginaw, Michigan.
